Welcome to our inaugural post of The Pack Leader, the official blog of Highland Hounds, Boston’s premier dog adventure and pet care service. As many of you know, Highland Hounds is not your typical dog walking service - because we all know our dogs deserve better than typical --- they deserve exceptional!

In fact, we do not really see ourselves as “dog walkers.” At Highland Hounds we create dog adventures! Seriously, dog adventures! It’s not a gimmick, it’s what we do! Running, playing, socializing, and learning while exploring Boston’s most beautiful and dog friendly parks and trails is the heart of our service. Forget a sleepy lap around the block or a routine trip to the backyard, our Pack Leaders create a stimulating adventure for your dog to awaken their inner wolf and become the confident, friendly, and fulfilled hound they deserve to be! Imagine your dog, running, playing, socializing, and exploring nature with a pack of his or her best friends under the supervision of our CPR and NAPPS certified Pack Leaders. Can you see it? Can you see how much fun they are having? Can you see their smiling faces? How much anxiety is leaving their furry bodies through exercise? At Highland Hounds we make that happen, and we do it everyday! Guiding our dog adventures is our founder, Miguel Chavez, and our talented team of Pack Leaders. We carefully work with each of our canine companions to create a bond of trust that inspires confidence in your dog to live their lives to the fullest, make new friends, and explore the woods and forests of Boston on and off leash in the safest manner.
